The dredge "W.B. Wood" is a powerful 14" x 16" hydraulic suction dredge boasting the capability of performing two functions: cutter-head suction dredging for sediment removal and sand-suction dredging for sand pits. Our state-of-the-art submerged pump pulls material from close to the source, ensuring a higher production rate. We are small enough to operate in narrow areas like barge docks yet our ladder is long enough to pump at depths of up to 70', enabling access for deep draft ships.
